Michael O'Riordan
Senior Vice President, Texture and Healthful Solutions, EMEA and Asia-Pacific
Michael O’Riordan is senior vice president of texture and healthful solutions for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific. In this role, O'Riordan is responsible for driving growth in the Company’s texture and healthful solutions portfolio in these important markets. In 2023, O’Riordan was appointed chairman of the board of Rafhan Maize in Pakistan, where Ingredion is a majority shareholder, after serving as a non-executive director since 2021.
O’Riordan began his career with National Starch LLC as a production engineer and has held various roles of increasing responsibility in operations, sales, and innovation. In 2011, he was appointed to lead the Ingredion business in China and, in 2016, relocated to the United States to serve as the vice president for global marketing and growth platforms.
O'Riordan holds a master’s degree in chemical and process engineering from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne in the United Kingdom and an MBA from the Maastricht School of Management in the Netherlands.
