NOVATION® 1600 appears as an off-white to cream colored fine powder. It is a potato-based functional native starch recommended for moderate temperature/shear food processing or neutral pH systems. This product is a food starch designed as a thickener and stabilising agent for water-based food systems. It is often used in processed meat, fabricated potato products and canned fish and vegetables.
This product is compliant with the German legislation under the EC Genetic Engineering Implementation Act (EGGenTDurchfG) and is suitable for certifications according to the VLOG (Verband Lebensmittel Ohne Gentechnik) "Ohne Gentechnik" Standard. Compliance confirmation is available and valid for one calendar year, and will be renewed on an annual basis.
