Senior Vice President, Texture, Protein and Performance Specialties and President, EMEA
Pierre Perez y Landazuri is the senior vice president of texture, protein and performance specialties and the president of Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) for Ingredion. Perez y Landazuri is responsible for driving growth across the Company’s specialty growth platforms: starch-based texturizers, clean and simple ingredients, plant-based proteins and food systems. Perez y Landazuri also leads the strategy and executive oversight for the Company’s EMEA business.
Before joining Ingredion in 2016, Perez y Landazuri served as vice president and general manager of Asia-Pacific for CP Kelco, a producer of hydrocolloids. Additionally, Perez y Landazuri held senior positions with Hercules, BASF, and Rohm and Haas.
Perez y Landazuri earned a master’s degree in chemical process engineering from ENSCP Graduate School of Chemistry (now Chimie ParisTech) in Paris, France.
