NATIONAL™1457 modified food starch is derived from waxy maize. This starch is utilized in canned food systems where high shear and temperatures are encountered. It also has application in low pH fruit fillings where heat penetration and end viscosity are maximized. This product is available under Ingredion Incorporated’s TRUETRACE® Identity Preserved Program for non -GM products .
