Procedure

  1. Slowly disperse and hydrate SIMPLISTICA® BV 1325 in water for 30 minutes using a Heidolph shear mixer at 400 RPM; adjust speed accordingly to avoid foaming.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and mix for 5 minutes.
  3. Shear for 2 minutes using a Silverson high-shear mixer at 10,000 RPM.
  4. Heat to 145˚C (65˚C pre-heat) and hold for 4 seconds using direct steam
    injection.
  5. Flash cool at 65˚C.
  6. Homogenize downstream at 2000 psi stage 1 and 500 psi stage 2.
  7. Fill cold <10˚C into sterile bottles from a clean fill hood.
  8. Refrigerate at 2˚C and store up to 1 month.
