
Rob Ritchie
Executive Vice President, Food & Industrial Ingredients U.S./Canada and LATAM, and Sugar Reduction
Rob Ritchie is the executive vice president of food and industrial ingredients for U.S./Canada and Latin America, and oversees the Company’s global sugar reduction business. In this role, Ritchie leads a diverse ingredients and solutions portfolio, ensuring the latest texture and healthful innovations—including sugar reduction—are brought to the market. His leadership includes cross-functional and cross-segment opportunities to enhance customer value through Healthful Solutions, which also encompasses protein and fiber fortification.
Ritchie joined Ingredion in 1996 as an area director in Canada and has held roles of increasing responsibility within North America. In 2018, he was appointed president and general director of Mexico, where he expanded the Company’s go-to-market capabilities and strengthened commercial excellence, leading to increased revenues and operating income. He also played a critical role in driving growth and profitability for the sweeteners and industrial ingredients businesses in U.S./Canada.
Ritchie holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Lakehead University in Ontario, Canada, and a master’s degree from Loyola University in Chicago.
He serves on the boards of the Corn Refiners Association.
